Marking a Milestone: 4 years of healing and hope

More than 1,000 women and girls have begun their healing journey at Terrewode Women's Community Hospital since it opened in Soroti, Uganda, on August 16, 2019.

Fistula patients receive holistic care before and after their surgery, performed by expert physicians, then stay at the hospital for up to two weeks for physical and emotional healing.
