Fundraising in Seattle this August supported the final costs of construction. A fundraising event at the Seattle home of board member Monica Stephenson, and support received at the 2018 UNAA (Uganda North American Association) Convention, brought us very close to reaching our 2018 goal. It is due to contributions from many individuals that the hospital will become a reality, giving health and freedom from pain for thousands of women in Uganda.
The medical - surgical building is partially two levels, with areas for medical equipment, supplies, and pharmaceuticals. It includes wards for 30 beds, and a large surgical suite.
Administration, "canteen" for a small retail shop and coffee bar, and a kitchen for the hospital are well under way.
